Off-the-Rack — Fast, Standard, Limited
Ready-made suits are produced in standard sizes with standard patterns. They are quick to source, low risk and fine for test orders — but the fit is a compromise for a large share of end customers, and the design is limited to what the factory already runs.
- Pros: fast lead time, predictable cost, no minimum development effort.
- Cons: fit variations, limited size range, no brand identity in the product.
Made-to-Order / Bespoke — Fit, Identity, Margin
Made-to-order suits are cut and made for a specific size chart or an individual's measurements. The fit is closer, the details are yours, and the finished product carries your brand — from the fabric and lining to the buttons and labels.
- Pros: better fit, full customization, stronger brand, higher perceived value and margin.
- Cons: longer lead time, minimum order considerations, development work up front.
Which Route for Your Business?
- Testing a market? Start with ready-made or a small made-to-order batch to learn what sells.
- Building a brand? Go made-to-order — fit and details are what repeat customers remember.
- Hybrid approach: run core styles made-to-order, top up stock with ready-made basics.
As an OEM / ODM factory we support both routes — off-the-rack styles from our existing line, and fully bespoke development from your design or our own.
